Essex Youth Service: Young People's Social Prescribers

Social prescribers are youth workers who work with young people over 6 to 8 sessions to identify 'what matters to you'. Our job is to help co-design a 'social prescription' action plan with you which might include guidance in social situations, increasing your social connection in the community, and helps you to achieve your goals. We work with community groups and GPs to take referrals, but if you would like to self-refer please do get in touch!

Do you want some mental wellbeing support for something that's stressing you out? Would you like some help in accessing a community group or activitity for something you're interested in but don't know where to start? Are you worried about your future and don't know what options are out there for you? Or don't know where to start at all and think this sounds like something you could benefit from?

Who can use this service?
