The Washclub

The Washclub is a Chelmsford based social enterprise. Our mission is to provide work based training and employment opportunities for young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism. We build their skills, confidence, independence and pride by working in a real business environment as they engage in all core business functions from research, design and product development to finance, operations, marketing and sales. We are also working with Thriftwood College students too, to provide meaningful work experience with the launch of The Washclub @ Thriftwood!

The Washclub is proud to be a part of Independence Clubs CIC, a not for profit company that works with young adults with autism and learning disabilities to create social and engaging experiences and activities. These include community projects, social events and holidays, all dedicated to increasing life skills and reducing social isolation within the SEND community. For further details on the services we provide and products we sell visit our website: The Washclub, Facebook, or Instagram. Call us on 01245 939294 or email info@thewashclub.co.uk.
